Dark green MARGARET 2.0 – when it’s a good choice
This style works well if you are looking for a warm winter beanie made from natural fibres, in a muted dark green shade and without a turn-up brim. It suits everyday wear, commuting or quiet walks when you want protection from the cold but not a typically sporty hat. It is a good option if you like knitwear with a visible soft halo and a slightly looser beanie shape. If you have very sensitive skin and do not tolerate any itchiness from wool, this model may feel too intense.
Natural fibres and how it feels on the skin
The main yarn is 100% alpaca, while the two additional strands are a blend of 75% mohair and 25% silk, creating a thick yet lightweight knit with a visible soft halo. This fibre blend provides noticeable warmth and the cocooning feel typical of alpaca, but the mohair texture also means the beanie may feel slightly itchy on very sensitive skin.
If you tend to react strongly to wool around the forehead and ears, it may be worth considering gentler styles made from a different yarn available in the shop.
Shape and fit
MARGARET 2.0 is a classic beanie without a turn-up brim, with a slightly oversized character, made in a double rib knit. The ribbing stretches comfortably around the head, so the beanie fits well and covers the ears without feeling stiff or rigid. The three yarn strands give the knit a noticeable thickness – this is not a close-fitting thin sporty hat, but a softer style with a slightly fuller shape.
