Hand-Knitted Shawl in 100% Alpaca Wool – CHOOSE YOUR COLOR
| I do my best to show the colours as accurately as possible in the photos, but sometimes my phone has its own ideas ;) Please remember that shades may also look slightly different depending on your screen settings. If I have added several photos, it is worth looking at all of them together for the best colour reference. |
Hand-knitted from 100% alpaca wool, this lightweight, warm shawl is available in a wide range of colours. Choose a shade to complement your wardrobe, match it with your favourite alpaca hat, or select white or ecru for a bridal outfit. Each shawl is made to order in your chosen colour.
Large alpaca shawl – wear it around your shoulders or neck
This triangular shawl measures approximately 210 × 60 cm (longest edge × height). Drape it over your shoulders, wrap it around your neck or wear it as an extra layer on colder days. Alpaca wool provides warmth without excessive weight, making this generously sized shawl comfortable to wear.
Alpaca fibres have a natural fine halo that gives the knitted fabric its characteristic slightly fluffy appearance. If you have very sensitive skin or dislike the feel of fuzzy knitwear, please bear in mind that alpaca fibres may also cause some irritation.
Choose your colour and match your shawl with a hat
Select your preferred colour from the available yarn shades. Whether you favour understated, natural tones or something more colourful, you can choose a shade that works with the clothes you already wear.
You can also coordinate your shawl with our hand-knitted alpaca hats, including the KIARA Classic and LAURIN Classic styles. Turn-up brim versions are also available. A shawl and hat made from the same yarn colour can create a coordinated set for colder days.
Alpaca bridal shawl – a warm wrap for your wedding dress
Looking for a lightweight shoulder wrap to wear with your wedding dress? We can hand-knit this shawl in white, ecru or another shade of your choice, provided it is available in the yarn colour range. The naturally soft-looking, slightly fluffy knit can complement a bridal outfit, particularly for weddings and celebrations during the colder months.
And once the wedding is over, you can continue wearing your shawl with everyday dresses, jumpers or coats.
Handmade craftsmanship and care
Each shawl is individually knitted by hand with careful attention to detail. As this is a handmade item, the finished measurements may vary slightly.
Hand wash at temperatures up to 30°C using a gentle wool detergent. Do not wring the fabric after washing. Lay the shawl flat, gently reshape it and leave it to dry. Do not hang it up to dry, as wet knitted fabric can stretch under its own weight. For more advice, see our wool care guide.
