When it works well
This style is a good option if you are looking for a beanie for the colder months that gives clear coverage over the ears and works well for everyday wear. The Washed Denim shade is a variegated, melange blue, so it suits those who prefer a colour with a less flat, more relaxed look. It works well for autumn and a typical winter, but if you are very sensitive to wool, contact with the skin may not feel comfortable. If you want a very light, thin transitional beanie, this version may feel too substantial.
Composition and feel against the skin
I used a yarn made of 75% merino, 25% polyamide. This blend keeps a high natural merino content while also making the yarn more practical for regular wear. The knit is smooth, without a fuzzy finish, and the yarn itself is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
For very sensitive skin, this material may feel slightly itchy, so it is worth keeping that in mind if you usually do not tolerate wool well around the forehead and ears.
