CHMURKA Alpaca Beanie 61 głęboka czerwień
| I do my best to show the colours as accurately as possible in the photos, but sometimes my phone has its own ideas ;) Please remember that shades may also look slightly different depending on your screen settings. If I have added several photos, it is worth looking at all of them together for the best colour reference. |
CHMURKA is a thin, lightweight alpaca beanie, hand-knitted, with a subtle halo and an extended back. Availability depends on the size variant you choose — click your size to check whether it is ready to ship or made to order.
When this style makes sense
This is a model for autumn and spring, when you want coverage without a heavy, thick knit. It works well if you are looking for an everyday beanie that is light and falls softly at the back. Because of its lighter construction, it is not the right choice for severe frost or conditions that call for a very dense winter hat. The deep red shade makes a clear statement, so it works best when you want the colour to be noticeable rather than neutral.
Yarn and feel against the skin
I used a blend of 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide and 7% wool, chosen for lightness and everyday wear. The knit has a soft feel and a subtle halo, and the yarn is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
If your skin is very sensitive, it is worth noting that this style may feel slightly itchy.
Shape and fit
This is a beanie without a turn-up, with a simple, understated line and a smooth stitch. The extended back means it does not end close to the head, but falls more freely. This shape feels less close-fitting than styles with a folded brim, so it may suit you better if you do not like extra volume at the forehead.
Key features in everyday wear
- Thin, lightweight knit – gives coverage for in-between weather without feeling heavy on the head.
- Alpaca blend – the fibre blend supports warmth on cooler days despite the delicate look.
- No turn-up – the shape looks lighter and feels less built up around the forehead.
- Extended back – the beanie falls more freely instead of creating a short, close-fitting shape.
- Smooth stitch – the surface looks calm and pairs easily with different outerwear.
- Subtle halo on the surface – gives the style a softer, more enveloping look than beanies made from very smooth yarn.
- Moderate resistance to pilling – with regular wear, some natural signs of use should be expected.
Matching pieces and care
You can pair it with matching shawls, wraps and snoods if you are looking for a cohesive set in natural fibres, including alpaca scarves or lighter accessories for the in-between season.
This style requires hand washing; you can find a short guide here: wool care. This is especially important with a delicate knit with a halo if you want the beanie to keep its appearance for longer.
