CHMURKA Handmade Alpaca Beanie 52 płatek róży
| I do my best to show the colours as accurately as possible in the photos, but sometimes my phone has its own ideas ;) Please remember that shades may also look slightly different depending on your screen settings. If I have added several photos, it is worth looking at all of them together for the best colour reference. |
CHMURKA is a handmade women’s alpaca beanie in a rose petal shade, light and thin, designed for autumn and spring, with a soft halo and a slightly extended back. Availability depends on the size selected — click your chosen variant to check whether it is ready to ship or made to order.
When it is a good choice
This style is for those looking for a lightweight hat for cooler in-between-season days, without the heavy, chunky feel typical of winter beanies. It works well for everyday wear if you like a softly finished look and a more relaxed fit at the back. It may not be the best choice for severe frost or for those who prefer very close-fitting hats that hold a firm shape.
Yarn and feel against the skin
The composition is 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool. I also choose yarns with skin contact in mind, and in this blend I achieve a light knit with a soft visual finish and a natural, subtly fluffy surface.
Important: if your skin is very sensitive, this beanie may feel slightly itchy, so if you usually react to wool fibres, it is worth keeping that in mind.
Shape and how it sits
This is a beanie without a turn-up, made in a smooth stitch, with a slightly extended back. This cut does not add extra volume at the forehead, and the back falls more loosely than in classic shorter styles. From my experience, this type works best where a softer, more relaxed effect is wanted rather than the compact, sporty line of a close-shaped beanie.
What it offers in everyday wear
- Thin, lightweight knit – works well in the transitional season, when you want coverage without a heavy feel on the head.
- Alpaca in the blend – helps provide comfortable warmth suited to autumn and spring despite the beanie’s delicate look.
- No turn-up – the shape looks lighter and feels less built-up around the face.
- Extended back – the beanie sits more loosely and gives the relaxed profile typical of this style.
- Soft halo on the surface – the overall look is soft rather than technical or slick-synthetic.
- Handmade on needles – each piece has an artisanal character that mass production does not offer.
- Moderate resistance to pilling – with regular wear, it is worth expecting natural signs of use typical of this kind of yarn.
Good to know before choosing
The yarn is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. This is a good option if you are looking for a handmade beanie in alpaca for a lighter season, rather than a thick winter hat.
To complete the set, you can choose matching shawls, wraps and snoods if you want a coordinated colour set from the same accessories category, also as a complement to an alpaca beanie.
This beanie requires hand washing; you can find a short guide here: wool care.
