CHMURKA Handmade Alpaca Beanie 58 Ciemne Winogrona
| I do my best to show the colours as accurately as possible in the photos, but sometimes my phone has its own ideas ;) Please remember that shades may also look slightly different depending on your screen settings. If I have added several photos, it is worth looking at all of them together for the best colour reference. |
CHMURKA is a handmade alpaca beanie, light and thin, designed for autumn and spring, with an extended back and a softly fluffy knit surface. Availability depends on the selected variant — click your chosen size to check whether it is ready to ship or made to order.
When it works best and who it suits
This style is for those looking for a light head covering for cooler in-between days, without the weight or bulk of a thick winter hat. It works well when a soft feel and a looser fit at the back matter. The burgundy shade of dark grapes sits well within a calm autumn palette. If you need a beanie for hard frost or very technical winter protection, this version may be too light.
Yarn and feel against the skin
I also choose yarns with real skin contact in mind, so it is worth noting clearly here that the composition is 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide and 7% wool. This blend gives a soft, fluffy surface while keeping a natural wool character.
Please note: if your skin is very sensitive, the beanie may feel slightly itchy.
How it sits on the head
This model has a classic beanie shape without a turned-up brim, so the line at the forehead stays simple and visually light. The extended back means the beanie does not fit closely along its full length, but falls more loosely instead. The plain stitch creates a calm, even look without any additional pattern. It is a good choice if you prefer a more relaxed shape than fitted, short beanies.
Key points for everyday wear
- Thin and lightweight knit – well suited to the transitional season, when full winter thickness would feel excessive.
- Alpaca-rich composition – gives warmth suited to cool autumn and spring days without feeling heavy on the head.
- No turned-up brim – the shape stays visually lighter and less built up around the forehead.
- Extended back – the beanie sits more softly and loosely at the back than a short beanie.
- Soft halo on the surface – this style has a softer, more cocooning look than smooth, compact beanies without a brushed finish.
- Pilling resistance: medium – with regular wear, it is worth expecting the natural signs of use typical of this type of yarn.
- Handmade on needles – each handmade beanie is made individually, with the character typical of hand-knit fabric.
Additional information
You can pair it with matching shawls, wraps and snoods if you would like a coordinated set with an alpaca beanie for the transitional season.
The yarn is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. Care should be gentle: hand washing will help preserve the shape and appearance of the knit; you can find a short guide here: wool care.
