I used a yarn made of 75% merino, 25% polyamide, with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate. The knitted surface is smooth and without a halo, so the beanie does not have the fluffy look known from some other fibres.
For very sensitive skin, this version of merino may be slightly noticeable in direct contact.
