HELLI is a handmade merino wool beanie of medium thickness, designed for autumn and winter, in a light turquoise shade with a smooth knitted surface. Availability depends on the size selected — click your chosen variant to see whether it is in stock or made to order.
When this style makes sense
This is a good option if you are looking for a winter beanie without a turn-up, but with a soft, calm feel against the skin and a visually lighter finish. The light turquoise combines blue and green tones, so it works well when you want your beanie to brighten an outfit rather than darken it. This style is suitable for everyday wear from chilly autumn through winter. If you prefer a very close-fitting, short shape at the head or a very thick beanie for severe frost and wind, this style may not give the effect you expect.
Yarn and feel against the skin
I use 100% Baby Merino here — a gentle merino wool chosen with direct contact with sensitive skin in mind. The smooth knit, without a fuzzy surface, gives a cleaner, drier feel than fluffy yarns and does not create a halo on the surface.

How it sits on the head
This is a beanie with an elongated back, so it does not end evenly above the nape, but falls more freely and creates a softer line at the back. The lack of a turn-up makes the whole design look lighter and more minimal than classic winter styles with a double folded brim. This shape works better if you like a slightly elongated profile; if you prefer a close-fitting, sporty shape, it is worth keeping that in mind.

- Hand-knitted – helps preserve the character of the knit that flat industrial production does not provide.
- Pilling resistance: medium – with regular wear, typical signs of friction may appear, especially when worn with rough outerwear.
Matching additions
